it's just a way to get a mental picture of the size of the funding we are talking about.
The market cap of Rio is only 40 billion dollars, yet this startup QPM needs 2.2 billion in funds to have a crack,. Thats 5.5% of the value of RIO.
When you look at it like that you get a better scope of what is needed......
You actually see the risk alot better, IMHO.
GM, LG and POSCO should be providing debt facilities to cover the CAPEX for Phase 1 and 2, page-32
