OMG this says it all:

yes more effective capital structure - rinse repeat, as for more approriate SP thats got me beat as overall value of holdings should (if one believes that SP will increase in proprtion to consolidation) be the same. SP may be better but overall no impact on SH wealth if the status quo remains.

anyhow time will tell - lets wait for the next CR which IMO will be fairly quickly.
