Just love how you put words into other peoples mouths. Just because you say something does not make it reality, and relying on the past does not necessarily predict the future - things change over time but you can't accept that because you are locked into your 1950's attitude where households primarily consist of 1 income which is not the case in modern society!

That is the height of nativity there BG - if that were the case many more of those FHB would be buying the basic house in the outer suburbs but instead they extend themselves further to buy closer in! Besides which many people have a very different idea to what a basic house is, and the basic house for most is more than 4 walls and a roof!
