Quick question....to me... the only real risk here is the sovereign risk
And yes I know Thailand did this and lost the case but what stops her from doing it again?
If the mine is mega-profitable...could the calculus be made that it's worth the fine which is really unenforceable (correct me please, if Im wrong) but they would risk the downside of discouraging foreign investment.
They made that bet 12 or so years ago...might not they make that same bet again now or in the near future when the company has gone thru the entire process of proving up the larger resource and commissioning plant #2???
