It's interesting that Renesas is actually in the red on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
If this chip tape out was so material and revolutionary, you would think Renesas would disclose it to the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The fact there has been no announcement (as far as I can see), suggests otherwise.
Don't forget BRN has a market cap of over $1.2 billion! Think of how many licensing agreements and successful product launches by third parties containing Akida IP that generate significant royalties (none of which is guaranteed) will be required to justify its current market cap!
