re: Ann: ATR: Acquisition and use of technolo... I think we all need to calm down. I don't think todays annoucement is the one we are all waiting for. All the company has done is sold an asset (or liability, which ever way you wish to look at it) for $5m. The company has received $5m before (BHP) and although that money enable APG to prove its technology, it did not get any contracts.
Todays annoucement is not "company making".

To say we now have a base of investors who want 10cents for the stock is something I take issue with. Firstly I should disclose I am a short term trader. (APG is my only long term hold) All traders and stock brokers never trade between 10 and 10.30am, amateur half hour it is called. This morning some poor uninformed soul paid 7cents for APG stock. They and most of the people who bought today are now hurting. They will not want to wait for 10cents, they will jump out as soon as the price reaches 7cents.

We also had a chart of APG posted this morning, showing a break out from a down trend. As a chartist for many years, can I say a daily chart on its own is useless. Always look at three different chart time frames i.e monthly, weekly, daily. That will show the true story of APG and whether it is in an up trend or not. I think not is the answer.

I also take issue with the word "investors".( APG has to call people who take part in share placements "investors" but they are still gamblers, maybe with a little inside knowledge) When we buy into APG we are not investing, we are gambling. APG pays no dividend therefore if we want to invest we should leave our money in the bank, at least we get interest, thats investing. Shares in APG get us the right to gamble on the chances of management pulling the rabbit out of the hat. If they can we will be on a winner, if they cannot we lose our money, simple really. Much like a lottery ticket.
I think they can do it but I'm in the position to lose all my money I've bet on APG and not care. Are most people who buy APG?
