I guess the market is still suitably unexcited to be doggedly viewing LYL as the cyclical beast it is, and so determined to look past near-term peaks.
I'd wager that if things intensify, as you are suggesting, that excitement will rise & market participants will start believing the cycle is dead.
If not, I'll happily collect my 'front loaded' dividends and forget about what the market may or may not do. If LYL does indeed manage to leverage its strong track record and balance sheet, and gain substantial market share outside of the gold space, then I will be even happier.
