As you say Lastly, if this does in fact eventuate as a safer replacement the market is huge. Not just MND of course, but everywhere else Rapamycin is used (I'm sure that many of us LTHs have googled this).
I can't believe that BP are not watching this MND trial very closely. IMO BP are mainly driven by money and they may have a vested interest in keeping the current status quo. But if a safer alternative to Rapamycin (MPL) where to start showing results in this trial it's gonna be hard to ignore.
