On gas
- 79 per cent of voters in favour of price caps on gas and electricity despite warnings from state premiers about the impact on their budget
- 70 per cent supported the idea of reserving a portion of the country’s gas exports for local use
On coal
- 57 per cent of voters were in favour of a price cap and 36 per cent were opposed, with the remainder undecided
On taxes
- 51 per cent in favour of increasing taxes on energy exporters
On public ownership
- 63 per cent of voters believe in bringing back or retaining public ownership of power assets as a way to keep prices down,
