Yep, using the increased tax revenue and subsidising households directly is so much simpler than trying to cap the price of an international commodity, then compensate the states and potentially companies for lost revenue, all the while losing tax income from the lower capped price!
Has Albo even thought about what he is trying to do or is he just trying to save face and live up to his election promise?
