I see BMW moving away from lithium to silicon solid state batteries which don't hold as much power as lithium but are far cheaper.
BMW claiming the new range of about 700KM's for their new EV's using silicon solid state batteries which charge 30% faster.

Could be why lithium stocks are falling.
It will be interesting is other car makers move away from lithium to silicon.
