I work with aboriginal boys in custody in NSW. We care for them until the drugs, alcohol and petrol are out of their system.Then we educate and train them until they are A1 good boys. Then we turn them loose in the community where they can`t help `em selves. Access to all the bad influences again. They offend and get caught and ultimately spend most of their life in the adult jails. I know how to fix their problem and other boys white , brown , middle eastern, asian , sth american etc.There is no difference. Only problem is the bleeding hearts won`t allow strong decisions to be made and pollies have`nt got the balls. 90% of these boys have no father or there father is a negative influence. Big chance he lives in jail. When the boy connects with us officers they start to mimic our behaviours and with all positive influences , no alcohol & drugs they transform into something like they are supposed to be. From here they could do and be anything. They usually have so much talent.But put back into the same environment they fail .Not only fail but are destroyers of other lives.
