Bit deep for clay hosted? Perhaps worth looking for a source carbonatite?
The Mt Weld magnetic anomaly is visible ~100Kms to the SSE of the recent applications
Can't show drill holes and all applications on this scale. Only reported drilling in open file shown. ENR drilling as reported in @Abos post. Plus a further 3 holes drilled by WSA on magnetic pimples to the SE. Latter probably not assayed for REEs but worth a check of the files available.
The geology mapped looks granitic but there are some potentially interesting magnetic spikes which could reflect sources for REEs.

One that got away from ENR and Newmont in their focus on uranium may have been DRE's second ironstone discovery area - Sabre.
Drilling was done by both companies in the U days pre REE. REE's were noted in assays as they were at Lake Irwin.
Black spots are ENR drilling. Recent work by DRE also shown. Some holes very close to the Y8 area.
