It will be interesting to see how they present the low grade and peripheral lode trial, which reduced grades to 0.5g/t for a week.
Seems on the face of it, that the peripheral lode issues remain - whether they overestimated the grade, insufficient grade control drilling, or blasting related.
I am unsure what impact on mine plan it will have if the peripheral lodes continue to drag down head grade. Do these lodes need to be dug at the same time as the main lode to maintain operational efficiency?
(I will be happy to be wrong in this early grab at an assessment)
Seems that water drilling rig only deployed first week of December if I read slide 5 correctly.
I suppose the gannt chart only starts in December, so maybe drilling was begun earlier.
In any event, it looks like the solutions will be complete before the end of January.
The new mine plan reducing tonnes moved by 20% is pretty significant - others will be able to extrapolate to financial performance.
In any event, it appears there are continuing challenges.
