I have been leaning towards this too for a while, not that I am saying it's a sure thing but the dots seem to match up nicely.
To add, they also have 2 fabs in the US which seems appropriate as it appears that is where our strongest ties are currently (this appears strategic), the Intel ownership of course which we know is close to home for Dadi, and also Yoav Nissan Cohen being strongly tied with Tower
Tbh I am happy whoever it is, the fact that it's a Tier 1 is more than I could have hoped for
