I'm 71 and I just need to know the worst case scenario. My brokers keep telling me to never chase a resources company on dividend yields as you end up buying the top.
"Won't work", don't believe etc does not help.
Denial aside, if the price cap is implemented and there are 800 million shares on issue, it looks like the quarterly dividend could easily fall from 10cents to 0.75 cents per quarter (or 2-3 cents per year). Is this correct? Franking credits won't be generated either...
