Buying 30-50% more capacity for only $540k sounds like a good move. Of course, will need more cash invested to get "stock on the farm" so to speak.
Not sure how demanding development is likely to be on cash, but, touch-wood, they would only spend on stock if they believed current ops had the cashflow to support development. I'd like to think that the first year of spat growth isn't the expensive stage (compared to grafting etc), so cash needs will ramp up in a manageable way. But really just an optimistic guess.
