All investing is speculating (gambling). All share trading is playing pass the parcel. Rule No. When investing, keep emotion out of decision making, or does that rule only apply to share trading. Even in share trading there is a loser for every winner, do you care about the loser when trading shares. I do both shares and real estate, to me they are both about generating wealth for me and my family, beyond that I don't care, and I suspect you are no different.
