I didn't say China had their eyes on Singapore, that was Sailor. But I'm not so naïve to think that after Hong Kong and Taiwan a pacifist Singapore would be safe. They aren't pacifist.
China intends to belittle America. Read up on how Japan intended to do the same. Being small did not mean that you would be overlooked.
I was born during the war and grew up hating the Japanese, but times change and now see them as a solid ally.
