I will be one tied to a tree if not done properly. I will not be part of a project that distroys bushland and its flow on with nature. I have seen so many mines in the past ripped dug and destroyed . I have my finger on the pulse, and management blaming has nothing to do with it. People like me do. I have kids who will or will not see the Carnaby Cockatoo in the future. (Money can't buy them back).I have the pleasure of so many around the farms I manage. The EPA have to please people like me.
Will these projects fly AN, AC and Muchea ? IMO yes. Why? Because people like me. I can see smart mining practices that after mining, the bushland, if not the same, it is actually better. Possibly with multiple nesting boxes, baiting programs and capturing feral animals included. Breeding programs are a small cost to showing opponents the company wants the best for environment.
Silica sand is important for our fture, and if done correctly, will make serious money and preserve the environment, or actually make it better.
