    Tremeer,

""OK Possum since you have raised this......since as you know Trevor so well, why did Trevor not call a Trading Halt when the SP was in the range 2.7- 3c; rather than waiting until the SP crashed to 1.8c with all the unnecessary and additional dilution......knowing full well that a CR was required? ""

Trevor had organised to do a road show with the latest 24m news and meet with some new soph investors in Melbourne Sydney and Adelaide. That road show had been organised weeks in advance. He was hoping that by spreading the latest news and what Volt had achieved in recent months that he could garner some additional support from some new investors.
Do you think that Trevor would have known before hand that shareholders were going to dump their stock back down to 1.8c, 7 days after the 24m announcement, 335 million shares got sold down during the next 7 trading days . Do you think Tremeer that the stock was going to get dumped back down to 1.8c after the 24m news. I certainly did not forsee that dumping back down to 1.8c.

As armchair experts it is very easy to now say he should have done this or should have done that. Unfortunately Trevor believed that the market would embrace this news and see it as a significant step forward to what the company was trying to achieve in the U.S
Shareholders on the other hand who held plenty of stock saw it as an opportunity to sell their shares knowing they would be able to get them back at a cheaper price in the next placement. So they dumped.
Many shareholders like you and I did not sell our shares because we knew that we would not be entitled to buy them back in the cap raising.
Very easy to sell when you know that you will get them back in a raising at a cheaper price.

Trevor would be as disappointed as any shareholder today in seeing where the share price currently sits . With hindsight I am sure he would have done things different, but the reality is you don't get to look at a crystal ball.

Had shareholders not dumped their stock knowing they would get it back cheaper, the placement could have been done at a higher price and it could have gone to a whole group of new investors who Trevor had meetings with in the three states I have already mentioned.

In a perfect world that is what would have happened. That was the point in doing the roadshow.

It would be too easy for me to stick the boots in like many others just because I have the benefit of hindsight.

Sorry, but that's not my style.

    Cheers.
