I find this announcement both refreshing and enlightening. TNG has undertaken extensive "water investigations" on at least two seperate occations at Mt Peake mine, the first for mining consents and the second in the last year for relocated refinery consents. Both to date have been protracted and have given the appearance of being disorganized. My own research indicates that over the past few decades there has been a significant amount of bore work undertaken for multiple reasons, for farming, towns, mining and many other reasons. The result is there is aquifer and surface water available from many sources. It must be drawn with care very wisely used, where possible recylced and never wasted. GWs comment that it is scarce and must be drawn under close consultation with traditional owners and exsisting users is so correct and far sighted. We have waited a year now for this insightful colaberative approach. It is pleasing, refreshing and likely to get us permitted.
