I'm not downramping or anything but I do believe ppl are waking up to the fact that Lithium isn't the be all end after all!!
It's very environmentally damaging compared to fossil fuels, is unreliable, costs too much for replacement battery (over $30K is what I heard), cars getting on fire and blowing up, too long to charge, bugger all charging stations and need to park car outside when charging outside your home just in case.
USA is already looking to open up Keystone Pipeline and has already made arrangements with Venezuela to sell their oil.
EU is knocking over renewables like wind farms to access coal underneath them.
I believe next month January with Republicans in control of the House, they'll cancel renewables subsidies like Lithium to focus on base energy sources , supply and cheap costs to consumers.
In other words, I believe lithium's has had its day! I'm not saying it won't be around but, like a fad, interests are wearing off.
Remember back in the 70/80s, there were ppl climbing over each other to get in the Emu farm fad That was a big fat failure!!
