As I thought VTRE in Vietnam "rang a bell ", I went back to ALKANE and Ian Chalmers days , when as MD he was manfully juggling Tomingley/gold exploration and the DZP Development >( thanks, Ian !) .
Sure enough ...and without looking further as to where it went from there ....in the June Quarterly , 2017 , there was this following listed achievement :
Dubbo Project (DP)
 An initial twelve month toll treatment agreement was concluded with Vietnam Rare Earth JSC
(VTRE) as part of the extended due diligence of downstream processing, allowing evaluation of
both the physical separation process capability as well as commercial, logistics and sales.
 Two shipments of light rare earth concentrates totalling 80 tonnes acquired on market by ASM
were processed, producing approximately 31 tonnes of separated rare earth oxides, including
cerium, lanthanum, praseodymium, and neodymium oxides. Final processing is expected to be
completed in July, with products then available for sale as pure oxides, or after conversion, as
metal alloys.
So it seems some of the contacts and hard work done back then , are being re-visited .
Like VTRE ...and also , per the last Quarterly , further work done with ANSTO !
Perhaps Chairman Ian Gandel and CEO Rowena Smith have decided to go back to "rolling up the sleeves with fundamentals "...moreso that so of the continual "elevated and advanced projections" in Presentations under the former MD ....where the CART before the HORSE became clearly, the winning target for the shorts at the time !
This NEW AGREEMENT , with VTRE if fact and if it is Substantial , might finally put a floor under this share price ..and see remaining Shorts starting to hastily cover . Fingers crossed
