The SP is getting pretty dirty now.

I’ve been a part of many large scale projects and it’s not unusual for deadlines to be missed. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a failure, however, in this case there have been no updates and the SP has nosedived.

Any credible leader would face in to the market and provide an update. If you can’t deliver on your commitments then make an announcement and perhaps reflect on your ability to make informed decisions on timelines in the future.

I totally agree with many on here that have noted announcements are somewhat ambiguous, not succinct.
At the end of the day if management can’t get things moving or can’t close off deals what’s in the ground means nothing. Management need to pull their socks up and starting earning respect, perception at this point is horrible.
