G'day Benny, if you are looking to buy for personal occupation then don't stall if you find the house you like. Buying a home is a bit like investing in shares for the first time. Dont try and time your entry point, just get in there and get your feet wet, provided its the one for you and your family.
There are plenty of cheap and nasty homes out there but you need to set your intentions. Do you want to buy a home or invest and rent?
I notice you are looking to buy in Mt Eliza, nice part of the bay and underpriced given the type of home you can buy especially those with bay views.
