Hi fluke, bear with me while I test my logic. It is stated that EchoSolv picks up all of the true positives which is another way of saying that EchoSolv picks up all of the severe cases picked up by the doctors. But then on top of that EchoSolv also identifies another bunch of cases as also having severe cases aortic stenosis that the doctors have not picked up. Now, that extra bunch either have severe aortic stenosis and the doctors missed it or EchoSolv is identifying them as having severe AS but they actually do not have severe AS. In the latter instance then all those extra cases that EchoSolv identifies as having severe AS are false positives (aka in that extra bunch of cases EchoSolv is identifying severe AS but the patient does not actually have severe AS so EchoSolv is returning a false positive result). Does that make sense?

Anyway, perhaps I should bypass the label and just focus on the key question being how many of those extra cases that EchoSolv identifies as having severe AS actually have severe AS.

Good to see that with a good announcement the EIQ share price did not tank (as often is the case in my experience - ignore the rumour but sell the news.
