Hi wbddrss, thanks for your reply to my post. Just a couple things.
from wb:
My question to hotcopper members is, where is the evidence that there will not be endless supply of re processed U2O8 in competition from mined U2O8. When that point occurs it is time to get into U2O8 miners, ie yellowcake miners.
Probably just a typo wb, but most of the uranium mentioned in commerce is triuranium octoxide (U3O8) not U2O8, perhaps you were keeping one of the uranium atoms for some other purpose?
Also, not many people know that half of the u used in reactors in the USA comes from recycled bombs from Russia. Last time I counted, there are still an awful lot more surplus a-bombs in Russia and they need the money.
That source of supply is not going to go away tomorrow, so I will take this opportunity to repeat my own question.
Given that there is a lot of supply slated to come into the system around 2013-15, is the demand from new reactors going to be there ready to buy/sign contracts or are we just guessing and hoping? Just asking the question, nobody here seems ready to tackle this one.
