Disastrous and not unexpected outcome. What annoys me is the moral high ground taken on this thread.
NME held the tenement and JVd with MCT but only up to the point of mining.
That's why the JV was on favourable terms to MCT.
MCT was dissatisfied with this legal JV agreement, they do the work and MCT get the glory but that is the agreement they entered into.
MCT played some obstructionist games eg not sharing exploration anns with NME.
NME retaliated.
There is no more high ground here.
There is one and only one way to resolve this dispute and it is for the parties to accept mediation and compromise.
