the announcement did not provide any milestones and the hype surrounding 3M has burst so the traders dumped.

Its pretty obvious the uptrend in the sp is shattered.
The trading prior to this announcement was clearly not accumulation, but distribution. Stocks just don't fall 50% without insider knowledge. Options have fallen 60%.

My thoughts are that is looks quite solid from a long term perspective. We look now to GSK and FMCG for a catalyst.
