Without putting a damper (it appears one is already on IVZ announcement and SP) on the current state of play the news we received appears to be more of a rushed announcement to stop gap and not excite the punters who are craving for a mutha load. A damping down precursor to not so great an outcome?
It isn't much of a seriously encouraging piece of news when all is said and done and it seems to leave the door open for what may turn out to be just a half pie type of news re logging results. With flow tests months away from being run I can't figure out how this well is going to be a bonanza as things seem to have become somewhat muted from home base IMHO.
In other words no one is really excited as the SP is showing. Blind faith keeps us in there and many are still buying but many are still selling as well. Buyers and sellers are almost even when the real bids and offers are taken into account so no one is really "backing up the truck" as yet. One would reckon that even the most seaworthy ship tends to leak even in a small way...the real situation at ground zero isn't suggesting that anyone should rush in a buy just yet...buyer caution prevails. Wonder why?
