Lets look at specifics then. No resource upgrade by last week as promised but drilling to be diversified to other areas; The question is; is etango and surrounds topped out at 160m lbs?
i.e. no more sexy big announcements of resource upgrade.
focus now squarely on the economics or UNeconomics of this project and where the $550m capex will come from.
No cornerstone investor or suitors apparant.
No apparant catalysts for sp appreciation.
Management which you may or may not be totally disappointed with.
I dont see how mining licence is going to spice things up; the problem is the company is burning cash on exploration and dfs which scarily will/must be much more robust re ecomomics;
Current industry consensus is $55 a pound opex. Ouch. Mid term ux price is only $50.00.
Would I now invest in this company? Maybe, if Warren Buffett did so first.
