You are correct, it's the second recent occasion this has occurred.
In a free market (not Albanese and Bowen's communist takeover of Australia's gas producers), individuals are free to buy and sell as they choose.
I don't begrudge Mr Barber's wealth as he's created a lot of value for others including peasants like me, but to sell c.$24 million in shares of one's company is a strong, adverse message to 'Mr Market'.
And who's to say that he won't change his mind in six months and offload another significant percentage?
