So let’s look at it from Infosys point of view . We know the calculation below was from Norwood’s point of view .
We were informed at the AGM that Aida would cost $1.00 per day , or say $350 per year . Let’s assume after things like , App Store fees , partnership and telco cuts , that Norwood take is only 20% , or $70 per customer per year . Norwood would only require 1,400,000 customers worldwide to achieve the $100M ARR as claimed .
So Infosys will see it like this ,
$1.00 per day , $350 per year . App Store fees ( 15 to 30% ) , telco cut ( 20% ) , costs ( 10% )
Infosys 55% - 40%
Or between 2 or 3 times the return . So the 1,400,000 customers ( which Infosys would easily achieve ) would equate to $200m - $300m per annum .
The two Infosys projects would have provided all the feedback required for Infosys to make an informed decision , a decision that fits their current business model of acquisitions .
All in my opinion ……..
