Hey One, I would thumb up your post, but... after bitter bitter experience, I cannot in good conscience be positive about helping friends with individual stocks. One of the few things that still niggle me years afterwards.
As others have hinted at, the new MD has been very clear about what he has done to the company. Got rid of the waste, made the mining fit for purpose, closed some mines etc. That is a huge amount of $$ not being spent, and the past 6 months have been slowly seeing the benefits. AISC can jump around a bit at the best of times, but Wayne would not be stating low end of guidance, unless he is 99% sure of it, he just does not seem the hype sort of guy. I also like that WGXs costs are going to reduce further, this is not the end of it. Once the gas plants are running... that is another $100 of the AISC.
@Joelstar - cheers for the numbers. Could see a cash build from actual operations, but... I won't believe it until it's in the quarterly
That sentence did indeed catch my eye. WGX is starting to look like a new company, BUT... of course, it takes time for the market to actually see/believe it. Though to counter that, Wayne then discusses internal growth with the $100m raised... Finally, looks like a lot of drilling results to come, something that again, is fairly new to WGX. z If WGX are able to have a solid 12 months, I struggle to think that the share price is going to do some serious lifting. We will see of course.
