Without stating the obvious, 2022 has not ended how many of us had envisaged. It has been a struggle for all long term shareholders who had hoped that 2022 would be the year many things including Bunyu funding would have been ticked off.
Those that would be looking at their Share Portfolio Values today would no doubt be very disappointed with how Volt has managed to get back to these current levels. Nothing can replace dollars in the bank and it's understandable there is plenty of frustration amongst shareholders.

Whilst it is no consolation, I have noticed our competitors like RNU and BKT have also suffered the same fate in recent months. Less than a month ago RNU was trading at 35c . Today it is fetching 22c as I type this. Thats a reasonable pull back. BKT had a cap raising a few months ago at 24c when it raised over 20 million dollars. It was trading in the high 20's. Today it is currently trading at 13.5c. It would be fair to suggest that Volt shareholders are not the only ones who have suffered financially in recent times..

Does one feel any better knowing that other Graphite companies have also been sold off. Not really, but it does highlight to me that the delays which have plagued Volt this year have also been shared with these other companies, who are also trying desperately to achieve similar results in getting their operations up and running. Volt is not alone in that regard..
I have heard from many that in 2023 we can look forward to Graphite being the new Lithium . I welcome that, but I have chosen not to take anything for granted any more. Share markets have a habit of bringing home the harshness of reality all to easy.

With the money that Volt has recently raised, it puts it in a good financial position to go about it's business in the year ahead. From the various conversations I have had in recent days I can relay to you that talks are ongoing on many fronts, including the funding for Bunyu and with every passing day Volt is getting closer to achieving that all important milestone. To give you an approximate on timing is almost impossible, so I won't even attempt to. Suffice to say that history has certainly shown us and all the other graphite hopefuls out there, that nothing comes easy when trying to secure funding.

Finally, may I take this opportunity in extending my best wishes to all and sundry for a very safe and happy festive season, and hope that 2023 will bring with it, the results that we all crave for.
