A short term history lesson for the newbies here.
In 2018, major analysts were forecasting 1.2tWh of battery capacity in 2030. Note, deployed/installed capacity this year is expected to be just over 1tWh, thus will easily punching through 1.2tWh next year, assuming enough available lithium. As per BMI, forecasts are now pegged at 8tWh by 2031, slightly higher than previous forecasts, indicative of how fast the transition is moving, batteries included...
