    Anyone can claim what they want. This was from LPI over a year ago (Before they bought out their updated DFS)

    LPI -

    "The Company has made important efforts to become the first Zero Emission lithium brine producer. That effort includes using electricity only produced by solar generators through long-term power purchase agreements;

    The DFS came out and it showed that they would burn over 19 million litres of diesel a year (70% of the projects energy being thermal) and the remaining 30% of energy costs was just coming from the national grid.

    Yet they still claim it.

    So yes many companies are claiming things.. Whether it be carbon neutral, or % of renewable power but leaving the year out in which they will reach this. Many are incorporating these statements, often in misleading ways.

    If we take a look at the deposit discussed above. You can see they have a good resource but no where near as good as Galans in terms of grade. Impurities are low for both but Galan's is also much lower.

    Galan would be able to produce slightly faster evaporation times due to its grade. Only needing to reach a concentration of 32% to get 6% Li vs 34.7% to reach 5.6%. Interesting to note Ganfeng didn't mess around in snapping up 35% of the company. I'd say there is a fair amount of resource upside baked into the valuation also. Still, it just shows how undervalued we are.

    Galan have actually been reviewing a lithium chloride approach for a very long time.

    This is from the results received 03/2021

    They then decided in December 2021 to release the Candelas PEA but involving a carbonate plant.

    However, within the PEA they also reiterate their intention of probably going down the chloride path.

    The strategy has been quite clear and I'm happy with the way things are tracking. I have been buying this recent dip and look forward to the HMW DFS.

    If lithium prices continue to drop, (umwarranted imo) it is only going to stall new supply coming to market further. Only the strong will survive. Galan is definitely one of them.
