I'll put this way, lithium space is very competitive. The information coming out of Canada is what you would expect from explorers/developer, in that they need to promote their projects, similar to the noise here in Oz during 2016 through 2018.

AKE have a James bay project/deposit, and grades are on par/similar to Oz. I don't follow SYA closely, but they are currently on track to restarting their NAL project sometime in H1 23, though have no idea what the grade is, but from memory its low. Also, harder conditions in Canada in which to mine through the colder winter months, spod concentrate slushy's and all.

As for OZ, I think there will be significant demand from greater Asia, including China. Late next year, PLS will be shipping 46% of its spod capacity to South Korea to feed our JV hydroxide plant. There are battery factories coming in southeast Asia, Indo and eventually India. I don't know how we could also supply the US and EU, maybe midstream for EU is doable, but in which major emerging economy do you think would be good to set battery and EV factories.
