I do not know why Brian is still at the helm as due to his age perhaps taking the money earlier this year whilst share prices were substantially higher, he could have retired comfortably enjoying his twilight years. As he is getting on in age (as indeed some of us), to be honest, I would not want all the worry about whether the company is going to become a successful producer.

Even if or when that objective is fulfilled and share prices improve, if that was me I would have handed over to someone else earlier this year and perhaps find less stressful ways to fill my days.

What is the point of 'investing' at such an age if one runs out of time to enjoy the spoils should spoils eventuate?? With his holding and salary spoils were already available from an earlier point. Each to their own.

Should Brian step down or should he fall ill or else run out of time, what will happen to the company?? Will company strategy change as usually the 'new broom' would want to make their presence felt. Post not meant to be offensive though it may sound that way for some, as I wish him well in whatever he chooses.
