I have held PLS since ipo at 20c and made the very hard descision to sell 85% of my stock at $5.11.
my descision was based on fear of a long global recession and that i believe Li prices have hit their peak. The likes of GS have spread more fear regarding Li price but there is some truth in what they say. I have not sold any of my LTR shares but do not hold anywhere near the amount of PLS i had.
The shorter are just trying to capitalise on the expectation that Li prices will drop. There is a limit as to how much prices will fall as demand still outstrips supply. New mines coming on line will not fill this deficit as demand is going up exponentially. However, with more supply locations, customers can shop around for the best deals. It is not the shorters causing the sp to drop but global concerns and fears of a deep recession.
