My view Wally it is that it could be very rare (like have you ever seen this before?) for a company investing seriously in a clinical trial to be a shareholder in the selected CRO, purely from a scientific rigour perspective. If shareholders wanted to think about the long term consequences of this they might not want to approve this, there are other CRO's who have quoted, why take this risk of the conflict of interest? DB
