Whilst I agree with your sentiment that everyone better hope this stays in AVZ's hands and not the Chinese, I don't agree with the comment around Felix. A while ago I posted the following in italic below and it remains my view - in fact my view has strengthened around who is running the show in the DRC. If someone took the keys to your house without permission that would be sorted out quick fast - here it dragging on. If Felix wanted to make a statement it would have been as follows - i.) state corruption has happened here,ii.) then state here is your ML AVZ and iii.) then state to those who undertook corruption your fired and to those who are taking AVZ to Court we stand by you and will tell the Chinese if this doesn't stop they are not welcome here etc etc.

I am been blunt here that resolving this is too slow, and to be even more frank I will be surprised if this gets to production this side of 2025. I don't see a ML been granted until court action is dealt with and that is dragging on (been the legal process been finalised), unless Felix actually steps in and mans up, full stop, and says corruption has happened, here is your mining lease ML AVZ and go to hell the rest with this unwarranted action. As I posted back in July:

""As a final point - the DRC government needs to be held to account. In any western country if corruption was indicated this would have been dealt with immediately. The fact this is not been dealt with immediately and allowed to drag on means that explorers, which are the lifeblood of mining development, will explore elsewhere if they feel if they find something development will be stalled as larger plays start bribing officials. Removing sovereign risk requires a swift response by government here and that seems to just drag on and that indicates that the government are not in control.

Not a good look until AVZ are rightfully given the benefits of what they have done here - been discover a deposit and be able to bring it to production in the timeframe they have provided to market without having to give up any of its equity stake in the project because of corruption. Anything less confirms sovereign risk to market of operating in the DRC which only will hinder the exploration intent of small companies and therefore the benefits that can accrue to the DRC peoples.""

    All IMO
