Thought I'd give an update - I was just out at the shops and passed by the Dusk store (major Melb shopping centre). All Christmas stock is now gone / sold out - which is great for sales and also allows floor / shelf space for other items.
The walls that I saw bare at the end of Boxing Day (3 days ago) is now predominantly but not fully restocked - so they have planned ahead to have some in the back store room and/or seems they can also can get ahold of stock reasonable quickly from their distribution centre.
I suspect they are ordering, or have ordered, more to come from their local distribution centre to fill up the empty space from what presumably is better than expected sales (given the comments from managements' AGM presentations that they have planned and are were well stocked in stores for Christmas/festive season).
