Copy of a post I put on in December about P2. same still applies. We are not in the same as a junior that reports every show simply to keep the share price going. This type of reporting is what you would expect.
Whilst announcement was pretty bland, is consistent with another large discovery made by COP in Australia , being Caldita in Sept 2005.
STO was the 40% partner in this well . Their weekly announcements for about a month prior to offical confirmation ( 29/9/2005 ) were pretty bland , and in fact most were not regarded as market sensitive. Check it our & you will see what I mean. Caldita was talked about as being 3TCF or so.
The fact they are not saying anything does not mean dry hole. COP will be calling the shots and will not be allowing any info to get released until they are good and ready
