If anything, Ed Dowd has underestimated the total numeric impact of disability.
Perhaps he is only sticking to the hundred or so million people employed in the USofA.
Given the highly unrecorded and unreported and unrecognised contribution of the unpaid worker, I would estimate that Ed’s calculations are out by a factor of 3 x his estimate when you calculate the full impact to economic activity.
You were angry from the get go when you replied to my post.
If you don’t learn to be rational, you will really struggle to cope in this new economic reality.
