A gold dore bar is unrefined and by definition is not "nearly solid gold"... far from it. Consideing its contains about 35% of impurites and doesn't fetch the spot gold price given that requires refining. The single 3.2kg dore bar was "sad looking" in context of the promise of $24 million in revenue which was heralded in 2020.
Another 2 yrs on and one year from the Georgetown plant acquisition and only another solitary gold dore bar has been produced. The coffers aren't exactly bulging are they? The only thing bulging is the ever-increasing board. As for what a private takeover price would be after the co utilises public funds to build the framework for becoming a gold producer will depend on who is behind such an acquisition.
