    Once you try home made Beetroot you will never buy the tinned rubbish again, boil beetroot for around 1 and 3/4 hours, cool in water and then rub skin off and cut out imperfections and slice and place in jar, heat mixture of 3 parts vinegar to 2 parts sugars and a teaspoon of salt, when dissolved pour into bottles with sliced Beetroot and keep in fridge, stays great for ages .
