Yeah I saw that this morning ... popped at the open but now down ~5%. So to LTHM (-5.5%) and ALB (-2.5%)

Interesting amendment to a formula based off of Hydroxide price ... TX Gigafactory not yet built (hasn't yet beguun construction has it ... still in secret negotiations). Also the tonnage ... 125Kt over life of agmt (ending in 2025 - so 2 1/2 yrs) ... implies ~50Ktpy. Plus then an option for 3 more years

They've switched out CLP for NAL (obviously CLP not complete end 2025 either), gone off fixed pricing to more suitable pricing. Goes to show what "mutual agreement" can mean. TSLA wants surety of supply ... thus will pay market linked to not be exposed to SC spot pricing auction. PLL being a responsible participant in market supply dynamics for NA inks an agreement to do just that.

Some people are going to be super "irritated" across the street .... given the rhetoric about what PLL having to sell to TSLA at ~$600/ton. Yet another ephiphany and a doing their head in moment.

A timely reminder of "who controls the rocks". Queue the ... but it ends 2025 when Li2CO3 is being produced at NAL. Yep.. got it.
