I think it is about high time the mgmt sheds some more light on the bull they have been selling about meeting Institutional investor expectations.
Obviously they would have had some indication around what the "Institutional Investor Expectation" was before calling for consolidation?
Give us a figure around what the investor expectation is - Is it 65c, 60c, 50c, 30c, 20c or even lower.
Looking at the fall (over 40% after consolidation) doesn't seem like they had a long queue of Institutional investors lining up to pump in the money.
That's why I keep saying the consolidation was premature.
If there weren't many interested investors, then they should have waited for a couple of positive announcements before calling for a consolidation. That would have at least prevented the free fall of SP.
I ask yet again, what was the urgency around the consolidation?
or was it just wishful thinking, once we consolidate and the SP dips, the investors will flock to us.
Surely they can do better than this.
